I took a trip in to New York City on Monday for an internship interview and figured I'd stay a while to take some pictures. While there, I asked a friend to see if she wanted to go grab a bite to eat. Turns out our scheduled matched and I made the trek down to the Bowling Green. After lunch, I said my good bye and took off to take pictures.
Here are the pictures:
Went to the American Indian Museum to look around first.
Knife from a Native American:
This is a bag handle adorned with beads. I remember working with beads at summer cams and I can not imagine doing things like that.
Another bag with different design.
This is a painting they had there. I found it interesting with the American flag at the time having only a couple of stars.
Small example of what ladies looked like on horseback

Some violent pictures on animal skins
A little head dress for horses going to battle
While I was down at the southern most tip of NYC I decided to head over to Battery Park. Took a few pictures not too many as it was rainy and well, my camera isn't water proof.
Random light post, just found it interesting

Fan Page Created!
For you who enjoy my blog posts or just read them. I have created a Facebook Fan Page. Usually, I would upload images to Facebook under my own profile, but after today, all images will be uploaded to the fan page instead. I think this is a better way for me to show my craft. A benefit is that Facebook fan pages are public so more people will be able to see my photos.
This blog will be left for the explanation of some of the photos I took, as well as the story behind them. That is all for now, but stay tuned for more photos!

Is Snow protected by the warranty?
The answer to that being no, but I take that chance. As the season progresses, there are less and less chances to go and take pictures of snow scenery. What better to time to go then soon after a nice sized storm right? Well, I headed to the beach and managed to get a few shots off before having to stop due to increase in snow/rain fall. Enjoy.

Changing blog overview.. Photography is the new topic
So I have made up my decision to focus this blog mainly on my photography. Where as before it was about me and general things that I came to realize with occasional photos, it will now be a base for my photography. I want to progress my photography so I feel I need to push myself to get out at least once a week to take pictures. Stay tuned.
